Art Deco 18K Euro Cut 0.32 Carat Diamond Ring

Art Deco 18K Euro Cut 0.32 Carat Diamond Ring

This estate art deco era 18K white gold diamond ring features 3 European cut diamonds. Totaling 0.32 carats, these round euro cut diamonds are J color and SI1 clarity. Vintage diamonds, such as euro cuts, were hand cut to increase their color and clarity. Diamond cutting became significantly less crude in the late 19th century, which led to the creation of the euro cut diamond which was popularized during the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. Unlike today, the quantity of available diamonds was much more limited in the 18th and 19th centuries. The diamond mines of Southern Africa, which are responsible for many of the whitest stones currently on the market, were not yet discovered. As such, diamond cutters used inventive faceting techniques to bring out the best in each stone.

If you are looking to propose with a vintage art deco ring, it pairs nicely with a curved band, which we have shown in the last photo. Meant for a true collector of classic, antique fine jewelry, or for the fashionista with an eye for style.
